Both the 56th Fighter Group and the VTAS Squadron had its one year anniversary in November 1999. VTAS_Sgt_Rock and myself decided it was time to get together and actually meet all the friends we have enjoyed playing Fighter ace with, over the past few years. This was a very special event that occurred and went so well, that plans for doing this next year are in the works. There were many people who could not make it for some reason or another, so I would like to share the experience with everyone. The friendships we have online has been really great ,and to actually have met everyone was overwhelming. As you will see in the pics I have posted on this site, we must have laughed the whole time we were there. It was so incredible one cant describe it. I would like to personally thank everyone who showed up. Rock for helping get this going, Elite_Hades for flying all the way in from Australia, and teaching me not to ever play blackjack at the same table with you. All the VTAS,HARD,BEF, and everyone else. There were about 23 that showed up. Special thanks goes out to all the 56th that showed up, you guys are the greatest. Please enjoy some of the pics I have posted, and will post more as I get them.

The dinner was so nice, Rock was doing a double take at the bill. And Rock "1k" isn't altitude. We didn't see Rock much the rest of the night, but I heard the dishes were squeaky clean the next day.
